It would seem that someone has a lot of time on their hands to take credit for other people's work. This guy has taken a lot of pictures from a lot of people and I seriously doubt he got permission for them. I know for a fact he didn't ask me before he plucked one off OCDetails.com. I may not have minded if he would have given credit for the work, but since he just decided to swoop in and steal my bandwidth without asking, I feel the need to let other's be aware that their pictures might be on there too. He didn't even bother to link back to Autopia after he ripped off David's pictures of him personally. This guy has class...

The user that had posted this is actually former detailcity member Miamisunset who was banned for stepping on too many toes. Guess he does that wherever he goes.
 
i saw that on SVt this morning and said that he should have given credit where credit is due. No way did he write all that up himself .i also said i have read all that was written up on other fourms
 
I see alot of pics from guys here used there... That guy is a ***** too, all he had to add was he compiled all work from various sources and listed them somewhere...



I highly doubt he went to college, or if he did he sure has a long track record of plagirism... :-/
 
Another funny thing is, he did not bother to save and upload all the pics. He just linked them directly. I wish everyone changes thier pictures so all he gets are red Xs.
 
Well I didn't see any of my pictures. I noticed where he shows the wetsanding project (I forget who did that, but it wasn't him) and he uses "I" in the sentences, as if that's his work. :nono:

if I remember, Scottwax did the lexus wetsanding.
 
I get PM's about once a week from people who have spotted my pics on other people's sites. It *really* makes me sick to my stomach.



Some of those are mine, what can we do? Nothing really.



I guess.....
 
Don't know why people do this - when I was creating my site I asked numerous people on here if I could use their pics, and they were all kind enough to help me out. In return, they get full credit on my site. Why rip people off when you can showcase their talent? Beats me! Thanks again to Joe, Sean, Brandon, Gary and everyone who helped me out. :2thumbs:

You are right about this particular situation, but with all due respect, it's not too hard to get banned from Detail City.
