I've been so busy recently that my parents haven't seen very much of me, so I decided I'd give them a little present as they're heading out the cabin this weekend, and I'm booked solid, so I can't join them.
Anyways, paint was in fairly bad shape due to automated washes and such. I haven't had my hands on the car for a fair while. Paint was covered in scratches, not swirls.
I used to be so involved with this car (in good and bad ways), and it was a sad sight to see.
Processes were:
Polish out light key marks from bastards that aren't appreciative. SSR3 on cutting pad
SSR2.5 on cutting pad to remove light surface scratchs x2
SSR2 on polishing pad
SSR1 on finishing pad
Topped with Klasse AIO and SG x2.
I wanted to see what kind of difference a complete poorboys SSR lineup would actually do, and I was very impressed with the results.
Paint is now flawless with the exemption of some sand pitting on the hood. Some rotary holograms were polished out after the 3 years we've actually owed the car.
Believe it or not, but thats 2 and a half week old NoTouch tire dressing. It still has a very nice matte look after several HEAVY rains, and gravel roads. It also didn't sling that night either after a quick 160+km/h acceleration run on a G-tech.
Here are the pictures:
