Best wheel cleaner?

IMO the P21S is awesome. Not having tried the Sonax I cannot compare but I feel no need to spend more than I already do in P21S gel to get a better product. The P21SGell is excellent.

The picture that you say was with agitation. However, those wheels were in really bad condition. The break dust was baked on. I have used Sonax without agitation and had great results. It all depends on the condition of the wheels.

Sounds good. I will include it in my next purchase.

In the past, I've tried a host of OTC wheel cleaners but I wasn't happy with any of them (most recently Meg's All Wheel Cleaner and Auto Glym Wheel cleaner which is also OTC).

Didn't think either were great so I'll give Sonax a shot.

Have you tried Mothers All Wheel and Tire Cleaner? It is pretty potent stuff. It equals Optimum Power Clean on tires but do not have any dirty wheels that would be sufficient to do a wheel test.

Unless the wheels are REEEALLY filthy, I simply use soap and water.

There is a good, high end local car wash that buys 3m wheel cleaner from my work(parts warehouse). I had my Z06 washed there once last December. I kid you not, my wheels were black. They sprayed them with water first, then the wheel cleaner. Within about 30 seconds my wheels sparkled when rinsed. I asked the girl which cleaner that was they used, and she giggled and said I brought in 5 gallons of it last week but they cut it as it is acidic or can be damaging to the clear. Amazing stuff. LOL, I still never bought any....Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment and I actually like cleaning wheels the hard way? :D

I recently tried Sonax, and it's no better than my optimum power clean which is my go to for really dirty wheels. Another good wheel cleaner is chemical guys Diablo gel. You can dilute it 3:1 and still get pretty good results. 1:1 for rally dirty wheels. It's safe for ALL types of wheels. It's a thick gel(even at 3:1) that sticks to the wheel, and also foams quite a bit when agitated which I really like! So, I use both optimum power clean and CG diablo wheel gel depending on the situation.

Let me guess. Coconut oil right?

In Brazil, I know some tips or things are very different
of friends. Carnauba is the well from Brazil and is now
Considered an excellent wax. With respect to coconut (fruit
delicious) here in Brazil extract the oil industries and pulp, soap making and is excellent.
to remove the layer of soot from oil or brake is actually a product
interesting. Culturally in the U.S. is widely used in cosmetics. Are exactly b?o coconut bars or diluted.

does anyone have any insights into any cleaners that might be more environmentally friendly, as well as human friendly, as it sounds the vapors from sonax are pretty bad

The smell of the Sonax Full Effect is pretty nasty. I do agree with that one. Kind of smells like rotten eggs, but the product is PH neutral, so it is environmentally friendly, and it cleans like nothing else I have ever used.

makes sense that it could be more friendly but if there is some kind of irritating odor being emitted that would kind of tell me that it is not to friendly in regards to vocs, not sure as i have never looked at the msds for it
