Best Wheel Cleaner I have ever used

Please do a review on it , I watched the movie on that ,it looked pretty good.

:)
Tested BR today, and in one word, disappointed. I'm not saying it's a bad product, just not what it's hyped up to be. Sprayed it on a wheel with a fair amount of brake dust that hadn't been cleaned in a while. Let it dwell for a minute and rinsed with a high pressure nozzle. Removed a good amount of brake dust, but there was still a good amount stuck to the wheel. It requires agitation, just like the rest of them. This product is not as effective as I thought it would be. I pulled out my optimum power clean, and it cleaned just as good, if not better. Well, looks like I'm buying another gallon of power clean, or, I might try amazing roll off.

Wheels do not come 100% clean by just spraying something on, letting it sit for a minute, then rinsing it off.

Following with a soapy water agitation is the only way to get wheels 100% clean.

Just spraying on a wheel cleaner then rinsing it off will never get the wheels as clean as a soapy water agitation.

I understand that, but take a look at BR videos. They make you think you can spray on rinse off with a fair amount of brake dust. I didn't find that to be the case. However, OPC and BR are very close in performance. Considering OPC is $20 more a gallon, BR is a great value!

BR's adevertisement...

Just Spray and rinse. No more scrubbing wheels!

Brown Royal is a specially formulated touchless cleaner that removes heavy baked on brake dust from clear coated, chrome and painted wheels.

Brown Royal removes brake dust, heavy grease, tar, bugs and contaminants from vehicle surfaces.

Brown Royal is a great engine cleaner and will not harm painted surfaces or service labels in the engine bay.

Brown Royal is a non-acid cleaner and safe on many surfaces.

Brown Royal is one of the best wheel cleaners in the world!

Do not use full strength on uncoated polished aluminum wheels/surfaces.

Sonax Full Effect is the very best wheel cleaner out there. I love colour changing effect, as well as it's cleaning ability+it's also safe...Second best one is Autoglym Custom Wheel Cleaner...It would be nice to see PAC carry AG CWC in 5 litre refills, as well as Sonax Full Effect.

I second that!!!!!!

Yeah but you have to look at how much product he uses. If you use it full strength or 1:1 and just spray super generously, like a ridiculous amount of product, then the wheel should come clean without agitation. On more stubborn wheels (wheels that have several years of brake dust) you will definitely have to scrub. Not all brake dust is the same, some wheels/brake dust are easier to clean than others.

Tons of companies state that their wheel cleaners are just spray and rinse and do not live up to this claim. BR is no exception to this.

Meg Wheel brightner FS will clean 100% any brake dust with only a PW rinse. The only exception is when the dust is embedded into the clear of the wheels. I have only had this happen one time to me. It was on a range rover that had not been washed in 8 months.

Used Meg's APC diluted 4:1 and sprayed it on my tires, cleaned surprisingly well.

Then I watched the video and saw how great BR worked, I ordered it for $6.95 shipping not to bad. Surprisingly it did not clean as good as the APC, left a bit of dirt residue on the wheel.

All Time Favorite cleaner was the Original Armor All Wheel Cleaner that came out back in the late 80's, they had a commercial on TV where it worked like the Brown Royal, thing is it really did work this way. Just spray on hose off and wheel came perfectly clean. To bad they pulled it from the market a few years later.

Now Armor All has a product that claims to keep brake dust off the wheel much like Wheel Wax, but you just have to spray it on, wonder how that works.

Love P21s Wheel cleaner and 4 star, thinking of trying the Sonax but that is pricey.
