Best way to wash wheel wells??

Hey, I have tried to find this by searching, but haven't seen any detailed descriptions.
What methods do you use to clean the wheel wells that haven't ever been cleaned. They really stand out on trucks and I have sprayed them with a wet look stuff before, but that doesn't last long. The inner parts of my fender flares are white and really don't clean easily.
Just paid off my Tacoma and am planning to give it a deep cleansing soon.

Thanks in advance!

Congrats on paying off the truck! Solid!

I spray on APC full strength and let dwell. Then use a long handle brush to agitate the surface then power wash. If you don't have a power washer then regular hose will work but you'll need to scrub a tad more.

I dress the wells once dry with Poorboys Bold and Bright come out perfect every time for me

A good degeaser and brush ,nylon bug sponge or safescrub sold here .
Pinnacle Safe Scrub Bug & Tar Pad

Is the surface texured or flat ,pics would help.

Does that confirm to the contours of a wheel well? The wells I see are usually molded with pockets, etc.

I just a good rag for a deep clean to really scrub. Brushes get rid of surface stuff not the real tough stuff even after using something like OPC.

If the wheel wells have a lot of oil or grease on them, a good Degreaser works best for me. I like to use Meguiars Super Degreaser, it really kills grease, and rinses clean with not a lot of foaming and stuff. Sometimes I use a brush if it will fit, but the Super Degreaser works so good, most of the time, all I have to do is let the product dwell, and come back by with the pressure washer and it knocks everything out and rinses clean.

If you cut them like I do ! B u t they wouldnt work well in textured areas that are painted.

Its already happened. I ordered some last month and they had to refund my money because they were discontinued. Ran into the same thing at 2 other places.

That sucks. They're actually trying to put together a group buy on another forum. Have you tried contacting the manufacturer?

No I gave up the quest. It may be that PBMG got things straightened out since then..I havent looked any farther into it since. I really would like to have a set though.

I've been using Tire Foam. Spray on a thick coat (it's inexpensive) and let it work while you wash the vehicle. Then, brush with a fender brush to loosen stubborn dirt and road slime, animal particles, etc. Rinse with a strong stream of water and the well will be clean and black.
