Best way to handle scuffed leather

I took this image from a before/after in the pro section.

I have the exact same scuffing from the seatbelt on the edge of the seat bolster on my tan leather seat on my Saab.

Is there anything that can be done about this? I have my routine for leather cleaning/protection I learned here, but it does nothing for the scuffed area.

Not sure if there is anything that can be done, but if so, I'd be curious as to what method could be used.

Yeah, it's scuffed from wear from the seatbelt.

I figured the only thing to do is replace the bolster, but I was just throwing it out there if there was any was to improve upon the wear/scuffing. I don't think so, but there are some pretty creative and knowledgable people here, so you never know.

The finish is cracked and cannot be corrected unless it's stripped and recoated. Probably not from the seat belt, but from getting in and out of the seat. Abrasion.
