Thanks for the info.. Im going to clay first.. then use some Pinnacle paint cleansing lotion for polish, then apply Klasse for the final seal...

Has anyone tried topping Pinnacle Paint Cleansing Lotion with KSG? Will KSG bond to it? I don't know but since Paint Cleansing Lotion is (as far as I know) generally used for carnuabas, I don't know if KSG will bond to it.

I will say it will not bond over it

per autogeek"Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion will restore and preserve your motorcycle’s original beauty with a combination of gloss-enhancing oils and micro-fine fillers to polish your bike without abrasives."

KSG will NOT work over oils and fillers

Thank you for the info!:usa

On another forum, I was recommended DuraGloss 601 (bonding agent) followed by a layer of DuraGloss 105 for winter protection. Yesterday I got to work and the car looks great but now I'm checking this forum and apparently Collinite would have been the better bet.

Am I in good shape already? If not what else should I do?

I'm going to put Collinite 476s over the DG. Then Use DG Acquawax over the Collinite.

that is also a great combo. you will be fine

it's worth a try, go to your local HF and see if they have Collinite (chances are if you find it it will be on clearance or cheaper than usual). if they don't have it where the automotive aisle is at, check and see if they have a clearance section and look there...

I applied 2 coats of Klasse (waited about 8 hours in between coats) and I am very pleased with the result. Nice luster, high gloss and smooth. Its a Pewter truck and really makes it pop in the sunlight.

The Klasse Sealant glaze is a nice product..
