Best wash mitt that can be purchased locally?

hey guys, i just used up my four pack of costco sheepskin wash mitts. i broke one, the dog got to the other one, and i finally used up the last 2. anyways, i was wondering, what do you guys think is the best wash mitt thats avaliable locally? thanks for your input
 
I bet Wal Mart Eurow sheepskins are either the same thing or extremely close. I just marked mine designating which one for which section of the car :D
 
any microfiber mit would be your best bet, or even go to a store that carries natural sea sponges (ask your girlfriend/wife); both work great
 
I'd use those mf mitts only after an initial, heavier wash only because it doesn't have a nap like chenille and sheepskin for catching dirt particles.

Best price and best wash mitt. #3 in a pack for like $7.
Last's a lot longer than wallys or big K.

:yeah They are great and are $6.
 
I've been using Wal-Mart sheep's wool ($5) without any problems & at this price when it's time to toss it, it's gone with no regrets.

I've also used the Wal-Mart cotton chenile wash mitt, not the chenile mitt that has a nylon bug scrubber on one side, also with good results.
 
Don't forget, pick out those Eurow sheepskin mitts like you're picking fruit: only the softest of the bunch :D
 
The sheepskin mitts from Wal-Mart are pretty nice. I just bought another so I could retire my still new one to wheel wells.
 
yesterday my mom needed to do some shopping so i took the time to go to a local auto parts store, and i found this viking "genuine wool wash and polish mitt". i paid 8 bucks for it, and i really hope it doesnt dissapoint...... it was really soft and plush, but being soft means nothing if it doesnt remain soft and plush when its wet and saturated.

anyone have any experience with this wash mitt?

I used one this weekend, pretty nice. It did stay soft and plush when wet.

Sounds exactly like what I have. Bought at local auto parts store, paid 8 bucks, and is genuine wool.

No disappointment here at all!

I was going to recommend it, but couldn't remember if you had Checker's/Schuck's/Kragen's in the islands... that where I get my Viking mitts. I've washed them 20-30 times, and they are softer and in better shape now then when I bought them. Aloha!
 
The chenille (sp?) Turtle wax wash mits work well for me in a pinch. I usually use the meg's wool mits.
