Where do you buy this stuff? I've been looking for something like this forever. I hate having to apply gloss to my person cars twice a week.

Goggle Tuf shine....................... I know others have tried it here, and really like it. Again for thoes that worry I'm not paid by them at all!

I've seen Greg's tires and gotta agree... that Tuf Shine stuff looks great and lasts a long time.

Longest lasting: Klasse VRLP. I got 6 months on my tires with 1 application. Finish is matte to flat and resembles fk 108.

I love using original AA on tires though. Applied with foam tire swipe on a clean tire and allowed to dry 10 minutes, it gives just the right amount of sheen specially on low profile tires. Easy use & application and looks that rival 303.

I have tried many tire dressings looking for the wet look shine and no sling. I have tried Pinnacle Gel, Armor All Extreme Gel,Adams VRT, Detail Kings TNT, Jax Wax Super Blue, Looks Wet No Mess, aerosol, and various other dressings. I'm still in search of thr perfect dressing. What I have found that all need adequate time to dry. Especially when multiple coats are applied. Spray or applicator type dressings. If left to dry most will not have much sling. If applied too heavy, the dressings run in the tread of tires. This does not dry as fast as the outer wall,as a result when you drive this causes sling. Let the dressing dry as long as possible to keep sling to a minimum! IMO

I thought you tried out Tuf Shine tire dressing?

I also like Z16, the look is great, application is easy, and the durabilty is good.

I have yet to find something that outlasts Tuf Shine, if you search autopia you will find threads about this stuff.

longest tuf shine, second longest would be ultima trim and tire these two are the only one that have lasted thru rain and washings. i also like z16 and grape tire dressing (hi temp) they just don't last as long as tuf shire or the ultima.

So what's the best tire dressing for OTC? I've experienced the Meg's Endurance Tire Gel. IT SUCKS! Slings like A MOTHER F. even after one day let it dry w/ using less product.

I heard Black Magic Titanium Tire Dressing doesn't sling but I don't know how good is the shine. Anyone experienced it?

the AA tire gel is great and one bottle lasts a looong time. i've also been using the EO1 tire shine gel trigger which isn't bad as well...

The main question is what exactly do you want your tires to look like. A natural black matte color? The dark, moderately shiny color of lubricated rubber, or with a bright oily luster?

Brands I've used:

-Armor All

-OG ERV

-Adams VRT

-1Z Rubber

-Vinylex

-Eagle One

My favorite,by far ?

Adams VRT

Armor All is suprisingly good. I know I get asked in nearly every C&B thread I post what tire dressing I use.

Optimum Opti-bond is really good too, nice dark matte finish. However, most of my customers want more gloss.

I've used one Armor All dressing (a liquidy clear one in an orange bottle) that gave a nice finish but it didn't last at all. It was my Brother-in-law's so I'm not sure exactly which one it was. I've also used the gel in a small, squat squirty container with a foam applicator. It lasted pretty well but it "slung" and turned the tires brown.

Currently I'm using 303 Aerospace as a dressing. It leaves a matte finish that looks like a new tire instead of a "glossy tire" and doesn't sling. Seems to last pretty well. Supposedly the SPF factor will help preserve the tire but meh, we'll see.

Anyway, 303 isn't all that cheap but it does a good job if you want more of a matte look instead of a high-gloss look.
