Best Tire Dressing? (new Member)

high bling = lots of shine...low sling = not that much or no run off of the product from the tires to your doors, bumper, etc from driving after putting the tire shine on

Obey: how's the durability on that Sonus?

Very poor durability, but looks great. I only like to put one coat because I don't like it to look too glossy, so one is enough for me.

just about all the tire dressings mentioned will give you the results i think you're looking for, but to avoid sling try putting them on with a 2" paint brush, that is put the dressing on the brush then brush it on the tire and even out the product, let it set then if you want apply another coat this works for me.

also a good product is ultima tire and trim gaurd. it's a sealant and can be layered to your desired shine, it will not sling and drys black and dry to the touch and will last thru washes and rain, great product imho.

hers a pic useing pinnicle black onyx gel tire dressing. my favorite tire dressing

+1 Meg. Insane tire shine

I like Meguiar's NXT Tech Insane Shine Tire Spray. Looks very wet & shiney. Lasts long, and does a decent job repelling dust. Very good at repelling water.

Meguiar's High Endurance, on the other hand, was like a dust magnet on my tires. It isn't shiney, either.

I like Meg's Hot Shine tire gel. Doesn't sling on me at all. Just gotta make sure the tire is clean before applying.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Optimum's tire product. The level of shine can be adjusted by application method - spray and walk away multiple times if desired for high gloss , or spray and then wipe down for a more matte finish.

Also, since its water based, you will never get sling as long as you wait until its dried.

Just IMHO,

Pete

I personally have setteled in on Z16 but it doesn't last as long as I prefer.

At some point, I may want to try the Ultima as all the pics I have seen show the same finish I prefer.

I used 303 for a while, then bought some Adam's VRT and I'm really liking it. Goes on easy and I don't have any issues with it slinging...
