Hey guys I was curious what I could use to remove swirls marks in my paint. I have AIO but that didnt really work. I was thinking of Optimum polish but Im not sure now. Ive also read about poorboys 2.5 and now Im heard that chemicalguys have some good stuff. What do you guys think I should try.

Thanks :getdown

There is no best.

SSR 2.5 / OP will usually finish down marr free with a light cutting pad. Both can be used in the sun. I prefer OP simply because it does not dust like the SSR series do.

How bad are your swirls? That'll determine the remedy.

^ Exactly!

Moderate Swirls: Optimum Compound/Polish mix

Light Swirls: Optimum Polish

As someone else already stated, Optimum is nice because it is sun friendly and does not dust, works forever! Are you going to be using these polishes via PC, Cyclo, or Rotary?

Common misconception is that swirl marks are easily removed with a "swirl remover".

Optimum products are by far the best I've ever tried.

Optimum Hyper Compound on an Orange LakeCountry pad will leave 90-95% perfect paint. Also leaves a nearly perfect finish! One pass with Optimum Polish and a polishing pad and the paint looks perfect :) :spot

The swirls are pretty bad, Im doing a car who hasnt been done before. Its a few years old so. So as Stumpy says i should get me some optimum hyper compound followed by a polish or a wax.

Or could i use hyper compund followed byAIO then by glaze??

Follow the hyper compound with a light polish, like Optimum Polish, Meguiars #9, or something like that... Then AIO or wax  Problem with AIO, it won't remove any marring caused by the Hyper Compound since there are no abrasives in Klasse AIO.
