Best store-bought tire dressing?

Not to mention, all the extra degraded rubber you get when you use an oil/solvent based dressing.
 
I like EO WET Tire Gel.:xyxthumbs



It gives me a great look, it doesn't last that long, as I have to reapply after every wash, but it doesn't require any buffing, and I clean the tires once/month w/EO Tire Cleaner.



I've been doing this for about 11 months now and have experienced no tire browning!:bounce EO WET Gel repels dirt and water really well, which helps with all the rain we get here, which is probably why it doesn't last that long here:nixweiss

Wow, never though vinyl/rubber protectants could be better for tires than specialized tire dressings from the same company.



What I'm worried about with any tire product is that it gets onto the wheels. Like that No Touch tire cleaner and protectant. They say not to get it onto your wheels, but I don't know how the heck you spray that foam on and let it sit w/o getting it onto the wheels. So much for No Touch cleaning if you have to wipe it off the wheels!

That's probably why I prefer a gel over a spray/foam for any tire product.
 
I really like Meg's High gloss endurance. It is imperitive that you clean the wheels throughly EVERY wash. ALSO to apply only a THIN coating of it, b/c that is all that is needed, if you slap it on any dressing will sling off.



Now for an oline store bought dressing, some blue solvent tire dressing looks the best, but is the worst for your tires...



MY vote is Meg's High Gloss Endurance gel.:up
 
I really like Meguiars Natural Shine Protectant.....I don't like my tires really shiny, just a nice semi gloss shine......it doesn't fling all over the side of the car either......the sprayer it comes in is kinda annoying though, but I just dump it into one of my detailing spray bottles anyways.
 
I've been using the Black Magic spray. At first I was having a problem with it slinging off the tires and messing up the fenders. Now I just spray it onto one of those foam applicators and put two thin layers on each tire. Spray it on the applicator, not the tire. Works great!
