Exactly what I did. Went to Lowes, then the local Woodcrafters store to get the hook & loop backup pad, and then Painters Supply, a local auto body supply chain, for the Meguiars pads. Took me maybe an hour & half round trip from home, and later that afternoon I was polishing away on our cars.
