Best Sealant?

Well I layered it up 1 more time all around the car so X2...won't be doing any more than that....i'm starting to get beat working out in hot Texas summer heat :passout: lol

I also put it over the exhaust after it was chrome polished and it seemed to dull out the chrome finish  dont know why but it didn't look as shiny as with just chrome polish....

I remember also when applying coats that you should wait 8-12 hours which I def. waited 12-24 hrs.

well atleast now the car should stay clean much longer...just gotta see how long...

being sure the paint is clean and free from oils and silicones is very important for the life of a sealant. However some sealants like waxes have cleaners. This would not be to effective in layering. Pure sealant, and pure waxes would be best.

I'm not sure about DG's 105 but it is a Syn. Wax/Sealant and i think IICRC it is a cleaner as well as a polish sealant...

Still I was told I could layer it up atleast two more times so I just layered one more time...if it makes it last a little longer i'm happy.

Now i'm done. After about a week of working on the car just sitting in the garage being detail, total time the car has sat is about 2 weeks which is the longest i've had it sit in a while, now i dont want to drive so it won't get dirty.

FMJ is super slick and gives a great look but lacking any durability.UPGP is the best sealent i have used and its plenty slick and the durability has been great. After about a month i still go and put another coat on as it takes like ten minutes to do.

5 pages and nobody mentioned Blackfire Wet Diamond? I use to be in the church of Zaino till I tried Blackfire - that was it, easy on, easy off, no finicky issues, looks great!
