Best Sealant for Engine/Engine Bay

Hi! I've been a member a while, just never log in when I'm cruising around. Quick question for you pros out there. I just cleaned my entire engine bay. What product is best to seal everything? The hoses, painted surfaces, headers all of it. My engine generates a lot of heat, so it needs to withstand it. I found some products, but have no experience with any of them. Any response is greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

I'd using something like Opti-Seal on painted surfaces like your strut towers, radiator support, etc, then CD2 on everything else.

Collinite 845 for painted surface and metal surface's and CD2 (just like jshillin) for everything else.

Hey thanks. I appreciate the suggestions. Im going to grab a bottle of each and give it a shot. Im going to try to layer it a bit also. Im curious as to how long they will last in the heat.

Mercedes-Benz Brabus E V12 Biturbo and my old car, an Oldsmobile Alero!!! The Oldsmobile looks brand new, and I use as my daily driver. The Brabus is my night/weekend vehicle.

i use Sonus's Motor Kote. Works really well, ill see if i can find some pictures of my friends 3- series later.
