best products for use on white?

What products or combo of products have you used on white? I konw white is difficult to make pop, especailly if your going for the deep shine - wet look, but that's what I'd like to acheive if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks!
 
You're right...white is very hard to make it pop - unless your in Autopia! :D



The easiest *popping* combo I've found on white is Megs #16 and FX Spray Wax.



#16 makes white very wet looking (and durable) and FX Spray gives it a bit more shine. Great combo. :bigups
 
I've had some good results with the following on white: (after a good prep,ofcourse)

1) The Klasse Twins

2) Z2 Pro & Z8

3) Natty's Blue

4) Souveran

5) CG Creme Glaze/ Natty's Blue

6) UPP

I appreciate the help - this is all new to me. A couple questions from reading the boards - Why use Natty's Blue rather than regular Natty carnuba on white? I thought the "blue" was to add color for fill areas, whereas on white I would think you want the fill clear or white, not darkened. Also, I have hear that souveran is incredible on deep colors, but is it better than the others on white to justify the price difference?

Glad to see BlkTac05 mentioned Souveran. Many people consider it a wax for (only) dark colors, but it was my favorite when I had white vehicles. Doesn't last like #16 though, and Collinite's 845 would be another good choice.
 
Yep, my '89 Coupe de Ville is topped with spit shined Souveran. I t was good enough to win first in its class at the county show.
 
I've read many times before that a sealant is best of white, but I like carnauba's as well. Carnauba's give a deeper tone to the paint, depending on the sealant, some make the paint look plasticy.
 
I have both a sealant ( Wolfgang) and a carnauba ( Souveran) on mine. I saw no need to deviate from the same prescription for my black car.
 
In addition to using a good LSP and good prep to get rid of swirls, I think white cars benefit a lot from having black trim and tires be dressed and uniformly black. The contrast between trim and paint helps to emphasize the shine, to my eye. Also, windows very clean.



I have a white Civic with Z2 and Z6. (Just got my delivery yesterday to upgrade to Z2Pro and Z8.)
 
I would vote for the Klasse twins for a sealant and #16 for wax. My wife's white car gets the Klasse twins and she likes getting the compliments and me doing the work. Her CRV is garaged at home and at work so with AIOx1 and SGx3 I average at least 12 months durability.....seriously. Every now and then after washing and detailing the trim I honestly think the V looks better than my pampered and frequently sealed/waxed GS400.
 
I know that it is REALLY hard to find nowadays, but Pinnacle Paste Glaz has given me the best results on solid light colors. For a metallic, try out UPP.
