Best Products for Black??

I really like the looks for RMG by hand than a couple layers of PS by hand. Maintain with with CM...

Everything looks good on black.
Come-on guy's it's BLACK
Exactly. But I must say 3M's new Ultrafina SE leaves an INCREDIBLE finish for LSP application, every time I use it I'm more impressed :dnaughty
Presta Ultra Cutting Creme Light with a light or medium cut pad is my choice for cutting on black.

I mix up my LSP combos for black all the time, every black seems to like something different. I LOVE P&S Carnauba Creme wax though, as long as the finish is fairly well maintained I've gotten 2-3 months protection out of it and it leaves just as nice of a shine as Natty's, just a bit darker and that's how I like black :bigups

I've learned that you can use literally any LSP you want on black, but if you lack in your prep work it doesn't matter which product you use. The finish has to look it's best without anything on it before you can justify the difference between one or another LSP.

LikeaRock,

How does Presta Ultra Cutting Creme Light compare to 3M's Ultrafina SE? (SE Being?) I did hear 3M brought some new products to the market, to bad they always do funky naming schemes! Presta I hear is very good bodyshop wise, both the Ultra Polish & Chroma 1500.

Ultrafina SE is actually a finishing polish, it can be used via rotary or D/A and leaves a swirl-free, high gloss finish. I've been using it for a few months now and love it. A bottle is around $40/qt but worth it IMO, I sometimes would see a hologram or two in the finish of a black vehicle but with SE I get great results.
Ultra Cutting Creme Light is a light duty compound, it breaks down relatively quick and there's not much it can't handle. Little to no dusting while working and removal is a snap.
I also have their 1500 polish (great product to use between compounding and finishing), and their Swirl Remover is good stuff as well. It's got more bite to it than SE and I often find myself using it with a light cut pad on light colored vehicles.

Does this sound about right? Applying to a black vehicle, with some minor swirls, webs, scratches, etc...

PB SSR1 (hopefully will not have to order 2.5)
PB Polish w/ carnauba blue
PB EX Sealant w/ carnauba (do i add more then one coat?)
PB Nattys paste wax blue (wait 24hrs to apply after EX?)

Also all these can be applied using a PC correct? Hopefully I will be putting in a order this week....

It looks fine, but if you want to add an additional coat of sealant, you'll need to wait 24 hours to allow proper bonding.

Probably won't want to :D .

Is that the same for the Natty's, I have to wait 24hours after I apply the sealant?

Yes, anytime you apply a sealant, you need to allow it proper time for bonding before applying another product.

Cool. Have you used either product in the sun?

Yes, and on black in the sun as well, but only 60* temps. Still, the paint got warm but not baking hot. Ultrafina does fairly well, it takes a lot for it to dry out, even when the residue is left on the panel after buffing. Ultra Cutting Creme tends to gunk up a bit but nothing a spritz of water can't easily fix. Presta's Spray N Shine is their QD and works great for QD'ing but is a great "rejuvinator" for their products, their Swirl Remover works exceptionally well with a couple spritz' of S&S on a panel, and it spreads a little bit of product pretty far. Also contains Iso Alcohol so when you're wiping down panels you can see there's no fillers in their products :bigups
