Best product to dress engine with?

I clean with a citrus cleaner, then top off with CD2. In humid weather, it does not dry, so be prepared to wipe it down. I've used the Gunk Citrus two-in-one, and that does a good job as well.

I have used Armor All foam and it is really easy. Clean and then dry the engine compartment. Spray the foam all over the plastic and lines. From here you have two choices :D Shut the hood and walk away or wait about 15 minutes wipe everything down then shut the hood and walk away.

I've used ArmorAll Tire Foam for years with excellent results, but I just recently purchased a bottle of Sonus Engine Kote to see how that goes.

Here's a pic of an engine detail I did using Zep EnhanceAll:

I don't think so, my engine was totally covered in grease before I got into detailing, and it never caught fire :). Currently I use Gunk to degrease the block, Castrol SC on plastics and rubber parts, followed by whatever water-based dressing I have a lot of kicking around. Right now its Natural Look, but I've used BnB, Mother's Reflections Tire Care and Armor-All foam with fine results. I then AIO all the painted parts if Its my car or a show job.

For me CD2 Engine Detailer is awesome. I have had not issues in high heat with it at all. Very easy to use, looks great, and doesn't leave a mess. :bigups

What about Meguiars Hyper Dressing? Topoftheline also has some dressings like Best Dressed and Hi temps tire and engine dressing. I'm interested in hearing more about Sonus Engine Kote though.
