Best product for dark color

My car is a platinum gray. Which products works best with dark colors. I'd like to get a better shine and the wet look.

Thanks.

THis could be here for a while...Everyone has a different opinion on it. I will give you my 2 cents. I think that Carnauba wax looks better on dark colors than sealants do. On my black truck that I had, I used Menzerna FMJ topped with a Carnauba Paste wax. My 3 fav Paste waxes are:

Blackfire Ivory Paste Wax

CG 50/50 Paste Wax

P21S Concours Look

The 4th would be Souveran. I like it a lot, but not as much as the other 3. But again, it is purely subjective thing.

I have a dark gray car, and the combination that I have found that gives the best look is Poli-seal topped with Megs #16. Collinite 845 is also excellent on top of the Poli-seal.

Carnauba is definitely the way to go for wet deep shine. Mine Fav.

Souveran

Pin Paste Glaz ( not made anymore)

Worlds best Wax tie Blackfire Ivory

50/50

Natty's Blue

What can I use on my Graphite Pearl Accord? keep in mind that I dont have a rotary or pc or anything like that. I gonna put it on by hand....

Any good quality paste wax if you want to add depth and wetness. If protection is what you are after or want to go with a sealant, I recommend going with Jeff Werkstatts products for that color.

So the Mag's NXT Gen wax I just used isnt the "one"...haha can you think of an example of a good paste wax that wont break my measly bank account?

I have a graphite pearl Accord, see recommendations above.

Poli-seal is by far the best thing I have tried on this color. Generally top with a carnauba wax or Aquawax.

I hate to keep bothering you guys with questions but i cant post new threads...before I go applying the poli-seal and megs#16 what do i need to do to remove the meg's NXT Gen wax currently on my car? will claying work? And when I get the old wax off what steps am I missing from this plan?

-clay (Yellow or Blue?) no major marring on the car..

-rinse?

-poli-seal

-wash?

-meg's #16

-wash or rinse?

-LSP? or is meg's #16 for that??

Before claying i was told to wash your car using Dawn dish detergent.

Not sure about the other questions, I'm sure someone will answer.

If you are using Poli-seal, you do not need to remove the NXT. It will remove whatever is on the car.

Using the clay is a good idea if you have not done it recently.

Here is how I would proceed:

Wash

Clay

Poli-seal

Megs #16 (This is the LSP)

Have a beer and admire your work!

SWEEEET!! Thanks. Can I use Mother's gold clay bar kit? is it any good? or should i order something else when I order the poli-seal and meg's #16?

Mother clay is a good as any other (IMO).

Megs #16 is a discontinued product, if you really want it you can generally find it on ebay.
