I've found Detailer's Pro Series Waterless Wash is a good bug remover if I'm removing fresh remains. (I haven't tried anything else on fresh remains.)
I diluted Poorboy's Bug Squash 3:1 and use it on bug remains that may have been there for several days. Once in a while I'll have to do a second application of Bug Squash at 3:1. I've never tried it at full strength.
