best place to get P C pads

also I just got my 6.5 inch VC pads made by Lake Country in.....
work great and need a 5 inch backing plate...
will be online within a few days

EXCELLENT new! Those VC pads are the ticket! Did you get all 6.5" pads or are you getting any of the 7.5" or 8" pads also? I got a few of the 7.5" Lake COuntry VC pads and they work great with the PC and 6" plate or rotary and 6" plate. Nice to be able to buy on size pad and use on rotary or PC.

Great....new pads...
1. Are they the same color coordination with Meguiars
Tan-Polishing/WAX
Yellow -Polishing /SWR/AIO
Purple- Cutting..
I have some Lake country pads for my Makita....what makes these good pads...or better pads ...than Meguiars..???

Jeff....In my limited experience the Megs pads work great and certainly last a long long time. What I like about the VC pads over the Megs pads are;
1. the shape. middle holds the product and prevents splatter then after the product is spread you tilt up and use the beveled edge to work the product in.
2. the backing plate is surrounded by pad whereas withthe Megs pads the plate is exposed.
And no, they are not the same color combo as the Meg's. Lake COuntry pads are yellow = cutting, white = polishing and black = finshing (at least on the 7.5" ones).
