Best place for Canadians to buy detailing supplies online?

Have to just put in my two cents for eshine. I had some questions before buying my PC a month or so ago and Chris was speedy and informative. Made the whole process easy and well, fast and free shipping was great. Going to need to order up some more microfibers and some Collinite I think soon!

Say guys, a hypothetical question for you... my friend lives in Florida and is a consultant. Well, my friend also details cars once in a while. Seems that he has a new client in Maine, where he'll be spending much of the next three to six months. His office in Maine is an easy drive over to NB. Got the picture?

So, where do you recommend that my friend buy some Riccardo Clay for Christmas gifts for his painthead friends back in the States... maybe around Fredericton? Also, will my friend encounter any trouble driving said detailing product across the border?

Thanks!

I'm in need of some detailing products and might even venture into getting a PC. I see Chris at eshine is the guy to talk to. Chris, expect a call from me soon.

The only place to get Riccardo clay is from Chris at e-shine ("Store brand").

As to the border, technically, it doesn't seem to be a prohibited item in the eyes of the border guards. The problem lies in the patent rights of Auto Wax (Clay Magic). They own the rights to all clay in the US, so it is illegal to bring in something that is a patent violation into the country. From what I understand, though, it would be more likely up to AWC to prosecute you for it than it would be for the border guards to know of the patent infringement and uphold the law.

However, Chris has more than 1 warning on his site that states expressly that this clay is not for resale or use in the US, so Chris may be apprehensive to sell it to someone not living in Canada.

Hi All,

Just preparing for some holiday shopping and hoping to save money.

Still a newb and only used to buy OTC.

Historically what kind of sales have you seen during the holidays? Especially for boxing day?

Should I wait or not expect any big sales and just buy what I need?

Thanks

corrswitch, Chris @ eshine has his awesome Christmas sale on again, right now. I'm hitting myself in the head as it started a couple days ago but there is still stuff left I think.

Yeah seriously! Great sale going on, and M105 is on sale too. Hopefully Picus hasn't bought him out of his stock! LOL eh Kevin? haha

Thanks, I ordered a bunch of supplies as well.

My wallet is almost empty :)

After the 12 day sale, will there be another similar sale?

Like a boxing week sale?

I better start borrowing money :)

Just did mine also! lol

My order of polishes from EShine just arrived at the same moment that i was filling another order on Eshine.ca lol

polishes : M105/M95/2xSIP(SIP was in sale for 4x.xx$)

I was about to order 106FF, but i can get a better price at a local store.

Canadians should be JUMPING on this E-Shine sale! With M105, Sonus pads, MF deals and the HUGE clay deals! I put in an order myself last night and got 30(15 ordered) packs of the blue clay to try along with some more back-up M105, pads and towels.

At the time I bought my supplies from eshine, they were out of several products and checked recently they are still out of stock (eg: PC, CG maxi suds, zymol brush etc I wound up ordering my PC starter kit from thedetailingshop.com and everything else from eshine.

We actually go in and out of stock fairly often on popular products due to several wholesale customers who clear us out without advance notice. The PC's have been in stock since the end of Dec, the Zymol wheel brushes will not be restocked until they are the new redesigned brushes (That do not crack). And Maxi-Suds have been back in and out of stock several times recently. I wish we can just order 1000 of everything but it seems when we do it collects dust. Murphy’s law I guess!
