best pads to get

Question for you LC CCS pad folks.



Does the backing on your pads cover the entire pad (mine do) or is it slightly smaller than the pad? I just got some today and can't wait to use them, but I'm slightly fearful that I might scratch my paint with the sides of the pad when I go for the harder to reach area's (mirrors, spoiler, crevices of bumpers etc.)



Anybody have any scratching problems?
 
ok well for now i just ordered 1 green for heavy polishing, 1 white for polishing and 1 blue for sealants and waxes..



i"ll be getting more soon though, just wanted to try these out..



as far as products my main go to products for swirl removal/scratches are #80 or step it up to #83, and mostly use #21 and #26 for my lsp's...



those pretty much tackle any job for me, as far as light to moderate swirled cars ....
