O4cobra said:True, but why do you say "that finishes nice for the lsp"? Prime "strong" is a finishing polish with very little abrasives at all, much less than Optimum and certainly 2.5. It cleans the paint a lot better than those 2, and leaves a perfect layer between the paint and OCW. Which "should" mean longer durability.
I just wish that people would get away from the "one" step mentality. With spray waxes it makes things so much easier and removes the need for that one step product. We all know that AIO and other's like it will not last as long as most waxes.
My .2 cents...
My experiences with those two polishes on a polishing pad is they leave a finish ready for the LSP, no need to follow them up with a finishing polish. If the car your working on has heavy swirls/defects I'd rather use a dedicated polish to remove a bulk of them, rather then a finishing polish that might hide/remove some. If the finish is in good shape and the swirls aren't to bad than I guess using a finishing polish would be fine.
Do you kinda understand what I'm saying?
