Best on CF for depth?

Okay, I've searched and searched. I've got a Seibon Carbon Fiber hood on my 350z and it's the first time I've really done much with CF. Seibon is a cleared hood and not a gel coat, so it's just like detailing the rest of the car, finish wise.

I'm wondering, though, if there is a better product to use on the hood to give it some depth. The rest of the car is Daytona Blue and it does quite well with Megs #21 and some occasional AW from duragloss. Is there something that would work better on the carbon fiber hood that will add more depth? I'm assuming that it would be the same as any other black/dark grey, but I want to be sure before I go and buy more products.

\r\n\r\nWhatever you end up using, I would finish with something that includes a UV blocker. CF seems to be very sensitive to UV degradation. \r\n\r\n-- DavidV :D'

Yeah, thanks. I'm going to have it re-clear coated about every 6 months to keep the yellowing down. It helps that I live in the pac northwest and we rarely get sun.

I used NXT wax today. I'll wait a few days and probably add some "Deep Brilliance", which is pure carnauba and see how that looks.

I see that you used #21 already. Did you try to top the #21 with #16 or #26. That is usually a very good Meguiars combination. It is a combo that I know works for a lot of people.

Then you can use Last touch Detailer or FK425 as a QD to get the gloss up. You could also keep using the AW if you like.

#26 I believe has the UV protection you need as well as #21.
