Best MicroFiber towels

I bought a 20 pack of microfibers at Costco and they work great!!! People complain that they leave lint on the car but I didn't notice anything being left that wouldn't fly away the first time I got the car up to 40 mph... $9 is a great deal. I think the other places are a rip off for the weekend detailer. I seriously cannot tell the difference between the expensive microfibers I used before the Costco ones.

Microfiber-tech just recently replaced the orginal Elite towel 16x16 that was lighter blue with no borders with a darker blue towel that has borders of velvet or whatever material it is. My original Elite towels are over 2 years old and still look and work like new. I have about 4 of the new Elite style towels and I am liking them alot. they are more plush and softer than the original towel and they seem to last longer when taking off polish or LSP and the buildup of product that happens when buffing. I plan on buying more of these new elites. that $1.19 price is great but that is for a case of 240 towels that would run you about $285. I will probably buy a dozen @ $2.49 each for less than $30 and that will keep me buffing happily for many years.

I generally use plush MFs from YoSteve but I gather they're sorta expensive (never really compared prices).



Speaking of MicroFiberTech, their gray WWs are the softest WWs I've ever used. Only way I ever dry the S8 and the XJS.

i'm going to buy 4 dozen (48 towels) at 1.99 each, is that good? comparing this towel with ones that cost 5$ or more, what is the difference? i think this towels looks outstanding!

I just ordered 12 Elite MF towels from Microfibertech @$2.49 each and I feel thats a great deal for this towel. so $1.99 is excellent for this quality of a Microfiber Towel. I spoke to Ian this morning who is the owner of MicrofiberTech and asked him about the quality of the New Elite compared to the original. He said the new Elite towel was a little better than the original in softness and plushness. the new edging he said was made of Microfiber. overall a better towel but we will see how it holds up over time. I have a dozen or more of the original Elite towels and they are still like new after more than 2 years of being used and then washed. hopefully these new towels will last as long.
