I've seen their videos and you're probably right. The felt replacement kit they sell on there site is for those oops, just in case moments (must be a high wear item considering it only touches the finish occasionally). At $2.95 the felt replacement kit is still quite a bargain (Air Wand - Purchase). So I'm thinking at $5, the Power Dry stands a chance of making it.
All this air powered dryer talk has given me an idea. How about a Power Dry type device hooked up to a swimmers snorkel. Just think you wouldn't have to carry the machine around. I haven't got a clue why I'm getting such a kick out of this product, maybe because of its industrial looking appearance. I use compressed air to blow water from behind my mirrors all the time. I'm such a hypocrite.
