Best dressing for A6 Wheel Wells?

Having a tough time finding a good wheel well dressing for an 2007 A6. Tried Armor All and even Wolfgang but the wells even after a thorough cleaning still don't have that nice dark appearance (still has that very light, dry look). The material isn't a shiny, smooth plastic but is almost a cloth-like.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks much in advance.

First I think there is probably some embedded dirt that is causing that dry brown look. Also, IO think the front wells are plastic and the rears are material, at least on the 08 A6? i would get a citrus APC, and mix up a strong soloution like 5 oz per gallon of water. Spray it on with a pump up sprayer and let it dwell for 15 minutes. Keep re applying so it will not dry out. Next get in these with an old sponge and clean the best you can, if your is cloth like, see it you can get a long handle brush in these, a cheap plastic bowl brush works great.

Rinse well. Blow dry with a leaft blower or let it air dry. When dry it should be obvious that the dirt is now gone!

When dry apply a dressing. I like a water base one for the wells so i cn dilute it. I use something called Aqua Bead and I mix it 50/50 with water for the wells and trim. The stronger your solution the longer it will last. It can be used straight on the tires but I use Ultima Tire and trim for the tires. I do not use Ultima on the wells becasue it cost too much money and it is too thick to dilute down and spray.

Good Luck!

Good advice on the cleaning. All I would add is that CG's bare bones under-carriage spray is great, just wipe off the excess with a disposable rag and let dry.
