Best Deal on a Makita Rotary??

Hey guys,

Has anyone seen a good deal on the Makita Rotary special with the two wool pads and bag? I see most places are selling it on line for about $190 delivered. Autogeek has it with an additional 6.5 backing plate as well for $195. If the DC 10% dc discount is still good, that makes it the best deal I found.

I want to order this week. If anyone knows of a better deal, please let me know...Id rather spend the difference buying some extra pads and stuff.

Thanks!!

I know dwayne has it at PAC for 195 so after your dc discount it should pay for your shipping and maybe a little more too. Dwayne reccomended to use a different higher quality plate then the included one.

I bought a brand new Makita from a parts store on ebay last week. I ended up paying $145, which included shpping, for just the machine. THis does not answer your question but I always find ebay to be a great plae to begin.

PS. I will sell you my Chicago rotary for $20 if you would like to gain some experience before investing in a higher priced model. That's what I did any way. Good Luck!

Autogeek has it for 199 - 10% and they include an extra 6.5 flexible plate. That's 179, which is the same price as Coastal, plus I get the plate. I need some more pads too and since Mike has always been fair with me, and since he does support the board, I think I'll give him the business.

Are the Wolfgang pads he sells actually LC pads?

Thanks for you input guys. Cant wait to ditch the old Sears Rotary....:drool
