You can skip the UPP if you are going to use CMW. It will change the look you get from UPP.

It depends on what you mean by 'in a bad way'. If you mean you will lose some of the super crisp reflections of UPP for depth then that would be in a bad way. Over UPP, I would prefer a more neutral topper like #16, Natty's, S100 or PW since they will just make the UPP look wetter.



If you are using UPP it is most likely because you like the UPP look so you want a topper that compliments rather than changes it.
