While Iam an Ohio State guy, boy the Georgia Bulldogs look fantastic. There QB is awesome. I'll go ahead and predict they will win the national title...
 
As a buckeye fan, I see Texas taking it to the house to the BCS Title.



I know PSU beat OSU saturday, but I would like to see a SEC team go to the BCS Title and PSU whoop on them. :laugh:

If you started this thread before the season started than you have an ounce of hope. But you didn't and they wont.:2thumbs:
 
I actually drove up from Lexington to watch the Penn State/Ohio State game (I'm a huge PSU fan).



Incredible game...and the largest crowd ever at The Shoe. I had the time of my life.

As a Gator fan, I'm amazed at how few touches Percy Harvin gets. Every time he touches it the opposing team holds their breath.



Last game, 3 touches and 2 touchdowns. Today, 7 touches for 2 touchdowns. Demps and Rainey have world class speed, but most of the Gators say that Harvin is the fastest guy with the ball in his hands.



Should be interesting the rest of the way....

BTW, check out Harvin's guns. He was hurt and had foot surgery at the end of the year and became a beast in the weight room. He put on 20 lbs. of muscle before the start of his season.

Hey MSOsr, I heard that they're installing Astroturf in the Swamp next year. Yeah, they're trying to keep the cheerleaders from grazing.

Are you serious? University of Florida with UGLY cheerleaders? You might want to have your peepers checked, big guy....There are no ugly cheerleaders at any college in this great state.

At this point, it looks like Bama, Florida and PSU are the only ones who can keep themselves out of the championship game. Those three look to be the creme of the crop with Texas Tech putting up a good fight to join that club. However, they have Oklahoma to play and probably a rematch with Texas in the Big XII championship so not an easy trip to the championship at all.



If Bama and Florida go the rest of the regular season without losing, one will beat the other in the SEC championship game to make the BCS championship game. If PSU loses (which I doubt, I believe the rest of their schedule is very winnable), then Texas Tech will slide in if they can handle OU and probably Texas.

Texas Tech , OU , OSU and Texas are in the same Big 12 division so only one of them can go to the big12 championship game.. the other team in the championship will probably be missouri

LOL! Hey, I have to agree that Gainesville is a Babe-O-Rama! (Just trying to use my one football joke.)
 
And the Sooners dismantled Tech (which is a great team...the Sooners just had their number last week). Glad OU survived bedlam (OSU played really well), snagged the #2 spot in the BCS and in so doing won the tiebreaker over Texas. Funny thing though, had Tech been beaten by Baylor earlier in the day (which almost happened) Texas would have won the tiebreaker against OU and gone to represent the Big 12 South in the Championship game.



Anyway, now it's on to the Big 12 game against Missouri who just lost to Kansas. Not sure they can put up much of a fight against OU. But I'm the last person who wants OU to go to a big BCS bowl game (much less the national championship game) and choke and sputter as they have the last several years. Here's hoping Stoops can get the boys ready for the big stage this year.



I despise Texas, but they have a great team save for their sputter against Tech. Colt McCoy is a really good quarterback. I also like Florida and admire Tim Tebow as much for his off-field efforts as well as his on-field talent. To my shame, I really haven't had much chance to see 'Bama and Penn State play much this year.
 
Looks like either Alabama, Florida or Oklahoma will be national champ this year. Much better crop of potential winners than in the past.



Of course, if Missouri pulls the upset, it can be bedlam again.
