Best chemical polish for oxidized SS paint?

I'm going to be working on an old pick-up truck with oxidized, dull single stage paint. Due to the age and unknown thickness/condition of the paint, I'm leary of using any polishes with significant abrasives.



Based on your experiences, what chemical polish (or polish with mild abrasives) would you recommend to remove the dead oxidized layer and restore some gloss?

I've used Klasse AIO on my single stage van many times, it does a great job of cleaning things up.

Mothers pre-wax cleaner is very mild and works wonders on SS. They did change the formula, but still works well.

plus 1 for mothers prewax cleaner.. meguiars color x should do pretty well too

Any AIOs and prewax cleansers will provide good results. OPS, CL68, Klasse, SRP, but Bilt Hamber Auto Balm is fantastic on oxidation too.

meguiar 66is a chemical cleaner wax...I use it specifically for what you are talking about!
