Best Car Wash Shampoo with Klasse SG

While I think these forumes are great, alot of times you really need to test for yourself, its really the only way in some cases. As you can see, some like this, some don't. Some guys swear about a polish, others don't like this or that about it.

They sell Blackfire at Wal-Mart??

Oops. Black Magic Wet Shine Car Wash. Big red container.

I just googled Black Magic and found a site that says this wash has caranauba wax. I don't think that is on the product label.

Good to know since i was planning on going back to the Klasse twins and layering SG between washes.

Sorry to offer a dissenting opinion but I've never had a problem with Pinnacle shampoo being hard on Pinnacle Signature or Paste Glaz or P21S (use this combo on wife's car).

I find P21S to be better than everything I've tried including Gold Class, Griot's...B]

NO problem with a dissenting opinion :D Might not even *be* dissenting as I was usually using the Pinnacle shampoo on Souveran, which might behave differently. Just gotta find what works for you.

Maybe this is process dependent. I use sheepskin mitts and dry with WW MF.

Can you tell me what mix ratio you used? I found the directions to be a little vague as to how much soap per gallon of water to use. They offered a range of "2-3 capfulls" (or something like that) but when you look at the cap its huge. Do they mean caps filled up to the top, or up to the line partway up? (Why not just specify ounces and I'd properly measure it out) I had questions like that. :nixweiss

I've only had a chance to try my P21S shampoo once and my first impression of it was not as great as I expected, especially considering the rave reviews it gets. So far based on that one use, I still prefer GC and NXT.

PS I also use sheepskin mitts, and WW for drying.

GC and NXT containers both recommend 1 oz per gallon. I follow those directions and get what I consider good lubricity, suds and cleaning from both although I think NXT has more lubricity so that's my go to wash.

Personally i like the the maguairs shampoo it seems to have the best lubricancy that conditions your paint and pampers it.

I like the maguairs shampoo the best because it seems to have the most lubricancy and really pampers your paint and gives it a good shine.

Poorboy's SS&S, smells great, great lubrication, and I don't find it harsh on my lsp.

I have yet to find a soap that can match the slipperyness of Poorboy's SS&S. The new forumla of Optimum Car Wash is not too far off though and is much cheaper. So, I've been using that lately. Plus, the Optimum product leaves the car with more of a "just waxed" look than the Poorboy's.

Johnson Baby Shampoo works great for me average suds rinse off very WELL

X2 !! Not sure why many people on here haven't tried it. It is totally safe and gentle to a car's finish, won't strip waxes or sealants, and is fairly cheap. Ah well. I'll keep it a secret....
