Best bang for the buck products

You WILL like my work!
I like all these threads on worst and best products and I'll probably never get to use half of them. Well the worst I won't for sure! But some of those "best" products are also pretty costy for the average regular weekender or detailer on a budget. So was wondering what are some products you guys recommend as outstanding but also nicely affordable?

I've always thought Meguiar's products where a good bang for the buck. Plus they are easy to find. Your local auto store should have a few and maybe even be able to get you what they don't have on hand.

Duragloss line is pretty reasonable, is a nice OTC and its line meshes well together. I especially like the marine version of products 501, 521 and of course Aquawax. The 105 sealant is decent too and lasts quite a long time.

+1

Meguiars Last Touch as a clay lube (dilutes 1:1), Hyper Dressing as a general purpose dressing (wells, engines, etc.), and Wheel Brightener as a strong wheel cleaner are also great choices.

Don't skimp on polishes though, the results are noticably better with the more expensive ones (Menzerna, etc.)

The Optimum line is a good choise for cost vs. quality.

If you have a rotary machine, I really like the Menzerna products. They are a little more expensive, but not too much...and they are very effective.

I've found that with Menzerna SIP, Menzerna 106FF, and your choice of Carnuba or Sealant LSP, you can pretty much tackle anything out there.

Of couse, some people (like me), cannot help but try everything.

FK1 425 (actually, it appears that the entire Finish Kare1 line is *very* reasonably priced).

Surprisingly, UPGP. It's cost per application is great. Still not happy with the prices for the rest of the line, though. :(

ONR

CG's CW&G

All Collinite waxes

Eurow MF towels (although they keep going up)

Forgot one. Duragloss 902 Car Wash Concentrate.

Slick, sudsy, and I got it for around $20 a gallon at my local CarQuest. You will easily get over 100 washes out of the gallon.

+1 with Aquawax and Duraglosses soap (Can't remember the #) and for polishes 4 Star Body Shop are outstanding for their price!

Best bang for the buck:

Duragloss 901/902 Shampoo (same product but 902 is the gallon size which offers the best bang for the buck)

Meguiar's Last Touch QD

Meguiar's Glass Cleaner Concentrate

Original Armor-All

S100 or Natty's Blue for waxes

For spray waxes that are cheap and good -Turtle Wax Platinum Spray , Eagle One Nano spray. Qds that are good Eagle One Wipe n Shine , DGs Fast Clean and Shine. Meguiars UQD is good but not cheap. Mothers FX spray is good , so is the regular FX wax.

You listed my top two best "bang for the buck" products: FK 425 (by the gallon) and the Eurow MF towels. Even with the new price they are still around $3 each after shipping costs.

still worth it, as some charge over $5 a piece for their towels (which still aren't as nice)...
