I was going to get KAIO, but it's hard to remove.

how do you know its hard to remove if you don't have it???



I think your confusing KAIO with KSG. KAIO removes effortlessly.



Anyways, I used to use KAIO a lot and still do as a cleaner/base for sealants but I'm becoming more of a fan of d151

ZAIO, the more I use it the more like it. Easy to use, leaves a deep wet durable shine. If there is a knock on this product, it would be there is no hiding or correcting ability to speak of. However, there is nothing I've tried that would correct or hide that would have this type durability. It is a great cleaner too.

D151 could be ordered by pretty much any body shop supply store that stocks 3M or Meguiars. You just might have to pay a bit more and I'm almost positive you'll only be able to order gallon sizes. Your best bet is to order from ADS if you want smaller sizes.



D151 and KAIO really don't compare. D151 has way more cut than KAIO which is virtually non abrasive on every thing but the softest of paints (newer VOC compliant version). KAIO leaves behind an acrylic layer that can be topped by almost anything while D151 might cause some trouble for really finicky sealants due to the oils and carnauba content.



It really depends on what you want to get out of it. D151 has corrective abilities which makes it a great 1 stepper while KAIO is an awesome chemical cleaner that works well on everything from paint to chrome to glass.

For non-abrasive, DG 501 is hard to beat. It cleans well and is pretty much the ultimate in durability. 6 months to a year is likely. Personally, I prefer acrylics (KAIO, Prime) because they work as well on hard, smooth rubber and plastic as they do on paint. Also very good on glass. I have a garage full of different AIOs, LSPs, and I almost always use Werkstat acrylic line products.

Yeah, same here. It's really handy to *not* have to keep the AIO off certain surfaces.

ZAIO is nice, but you have to be a little more careful about what you use it on, if only because of the abrasives (which can be surprisingly aggressive on plastics). Not a good choice for rubber either.
