Best AIO for me

I want to get opinions on what the best all in one paint cleaner/polish/wax product for me would be. This would be for my DD which is a 2010 black jeep wrangler unlimited. It has a hardtop which is painted with a factory flat/matte style black paint, it also has unpainted black plastic fender flares. I have been waxing the jeep(including hard top) with meguiars ultimate wax. I like the fact that it does not stain the plastic white and can be used on hot surface in the sun. I want to switch to an AIO product because I dont have time to do multiple steps on it frequently.

Two AIO products that I use are Poorboys Polish with Sealant and Meguiar's D151. Both are super easy to use and polish and seal the paint in one easy step.

I'll look into those, I like the meguiars products so maybe I'll get the D151. I also saw meguiars mirror glaze #6 which looks like it might be a good product.

In your experience, did the D151 or the poorboys stain the plastic trim easily? Also, I forgot to mention that I will be applying by hand(if it makes a difference for these products)

Poorboys will not stain plastic trim and can be used in direct sunlight. Both Meguiars 151 and #6 are NOT trim friendly, but are great products none the less. You can also consider Duragloss 105, or 501.

hello fellow jeeper. :bigups

i use blackfire total polish & seal. and their polymer spray to maintain my jeep. to amp it up, crystal seal is also a great sealant.

chemical guys new look trim gel on the bumpers.

When I used both Polish with Sealant and D151, it was high 90's and the humidity was high as well. The one big difference I noticed was how much easier PwS wiped off compared to D151. An important part in my book.

As a trial, I ended up using what I had lying around today: Meguiar's cleaner wax(the maroon bottle) and 303 protectant on the plastic fenders and bumpers. It came out really nice, better than I expected. Not quite as nice as a multistep process but definately a lot less effort and almost as good results.

Until now I have been using Meguiars Ultimate compound followed by ultimate polish then ultimate wax. It has worked well but for a DD it just was getting to be too much work. I think I will use up the cleaner wax I have and then try either the poorboys or the megs 151

btw, PA Detailer: That is a sweet jk. I really like the artic edition. I like how jeep does the different special editions(mine's a mountain edition)

As with what's mentioned, DG501 is a great AIO, as is Blackfire's TP&S. But the best one (I find) is still Klasse AIO, cleans paint and trim really well plus the convenience of using anything over it should you choose to..

D151 is going to be a fairly aggressive AIO. It offers very strong correction potential if it applied with an aggressive method.

What type of machine are you using or are you doing it by hand?

Curious about how you applied this?

I applied it with my PCXP with an orange LC pad on speed 5. Misted the pad once with FK425 applied 3-4 drops of products and worked for about 4-5 section passes. I was inside while doing this as well.

I the first time I used D151 the conditions were more ideal and I had no problem at all wiping it off. So I am assuming the humidity and heat played a role.

^^yeah sometimes you just have to wipe off each individual panel right after you're done. I've never had a problem with poorboys doing that

I am doing it by hand with a microfiber applicator and cobra microfiber to take off.
