Being an Autopian has paid off!

Since attending the last Ontario Quebec Club Grand Prix BBQ last year I discovered Autopia. In the last year I didn't do any appearance "modifications", I just started detailing the crap out of it! This year's BBQ comes along and I won Best Naturally Aspirated. The judges kept telling me how they've never seen a car so clean all around and how the paint looks dripping wet all the time.

In the following pictures the car has Klasse AIO x1 and Souveran x3

Good tip for you for the engine bay. Get into the spots on the rad cradle with a qtip with some flat black paint. It will make it look a ton better, and stop the rust from forming.

Congrats on the win, I have always told people that if you put in $2000 worth of mods you might get one or two stares, but if you detail your paint dripping wet then everyone looks or turns their heads and goes "wow ...thats wet and shiny" :2thumbs:

Heres another tip, being so anal I would remove those bolts and wire brush the rust on a bench grinder and apply gun blue and clearcoat or spray it gloss black.

Lol, thats a little too far. At work we just use rust paint, and it blends in a lot better than high gloss.

Thanks guys!

Those bolts really bother me, I really wanted to get new bolts because these look so bad, but I might just paint them like you guys suggested.

do you have any mods on it at all?

Fenderwell Intake (9" Cone)

Custom Tuned Computer (Overkill L36 PCM)

CompG Struts

GMPP Lowering Springs

GMPP Rear Swaybar

I've done little things also like adding the chrome PONTIAC lettering to the rear and also having the rear and front lower fascia painted black, and exhaust tips.
