Before applying a LSP

Before applying a LSP like NXT, FMJ, Zaino etc... do you need to apply anything after polishing.

So far on my first detail I did Wash, clay, IP, FP, AIO and finished with NXT. I got pretty good results but I want to know if the AIO is really necessary? Are there alternative products other than using AIO that are less expensive?

I plan on trying out my P21S in the near future for a show in April possibly. Would I have to apply AIO before the carnauba?

Sometime it is necessary because of the LSP bonding to the paint, yadda, yadda, yadda. I do it on every detail just because it adds some slickness and protection.

You don't have to apply AIO before using a carbuba. It will enhance the appearance of many waxes though.

You can go straight to NXT after polishing.

I don't know enough about FMJ and Zaino to give you an indepth answer. I know that there are many components to the Zaino system and I don't know which one or one's you would need to use. I *think* that with the new Z2 Pro you can go from polishing to sealant. If I am mistaken some one will chime in and give you the right information.

You will need to use AIO before you apply SG for the first time.
