Before & Afters of my Dad's truck

Excellent work!

The paint really cleaned up nicely leaving a nice deep, wet shine...The engine I thought came out rather well...A definite huge difference and another hour would probably be a waste since you probably aren't competing with it :D

What are you using on the tires?

Thanks man, the tires were dressed with B&B. I love that dressing!!!

Hondaman, I started around 10.30 and finished around 4:30. I could have finished a bit faster had I not wanted to play with the SSR2.5 and the rotary. The taping and masking of trim/glass is time consuming(for me anyway). I also tried to take a picture, polish, take another picture. This takes time and on this particular detail proved to be a big waste of time as none of the B&A's really turned out that way that I wanted them. :(

EBP, could you tell me at what stages of cleaning/applications you used a DA (I just bought a PC 7424) and with what special pads?

I'm new and just trying to piece things together. My car is brand new, but my mothers's is 10-years old and closer to your dad's truck in condition so I figure maybe there's some synergies there.

I used the PC to apply evreything, I removed with MF. I used a yellow meguiars polishing pad for the ssr2.5 and a tan meguiars finishing pad for the EX.

Oops...lots of acronymns I'm not familiar with. Is there a glossary here? Specifically...."MF"...."PP or MPPC "...."APC then... the LGCM."

Can anybody decipher those for me or direct me to a shorthand glossary for newbies? Thx!
