Before & After of me...

Clean Dean

Keep it clean !!!
I competed yesterday in the INBF Northeast America Competition (drug tested organization), and placed 3rd in the Heavyweight class. I was happy but not content with the improvements I made to my physique this past year, and embarked on a very strict 12 week diet. I had a very successful competitive bodybuilding run in the late 1990's and won most of the shows I entered. I have fine tuned my physique to about 85% of where it once was and will be looking to make the necassary improvements this year to return to top form.

Here is the results of 12 weeks of dieting. The pics were taken at 12 weeks, 6 weeks and the day after the show (loaded with pizza and beer). I strted the diet at 256 lbs. and weighed in at 215 lbs. prior to the last pics.

Holy h*ll! that's one heck of an improvment in only 3 months. What kind of diet is this? I don't need to be in super shape or anything but the mid range pics would be a huge improvement over my current gut busting physique LOL

:nervous: I got to admit I am a little uncomfortable looking at your body..It's kinda Gay..."not that theres anything wrong with that" But if what you say is true Clean Dean...Holy Cow...Forget Detailing you need to be a personal trainer...As a matter of fact I will gladly sign on to your "Clean Dean Total Make-Over" :idea We could make a fortune Bro...

great dedication bud.. The 12 week plan is a rough one, especially on the dieting part. As you said though, you were once like this (or better) before. It is ALOT easier for someone that has been in great shape before. Muscle memory. Here is a pic when i was playing ball at USM. Every now and again, I will bust *** for 3 months and get about 80% of it back..

you look good man...i think you would have been better off with 16 weeks of cutting...with that much weight you could of spread it better kept some extra muscle looks like you were still holding some water.. i trained a guy took 1st in class top 5 overall in ohio Natural Northern in October but congrats takes a lot of dedication

I agree that I lost too much mass, but the water is from 4 slices of pizza, and 3 bagels with cream cheese and the 3 beers I consumed prior to the pics. The 4 slices were like heaven on earth the night after the show. Thanks !!!

I agree, and will not go "hog wild" this holiday season !!!

Good work man, you definitely worked your butt off to get improvements like that. You can even see in your face that you lost weight and look healthier.

I've been looking for motivation to drop an extra 15 pounds and get back into shape...this just might be it.

Keep up the hard work!

Clean Dan- I think you did great, let alone for only 12 weeks. Doesn't get easier as we get older, does it?

You might be able to keep pretty close to that condition if you continue to eat on the clean side...how are you planning to go from here?

Oh, and that's quite a lat/waist differential you have even in your *before* pics

dean.

wow that was awesome man. talk about discipline. back in 98 i suffered a combat wound to my knees and in 6 months i went from a very lean 175 to like 215 in about a year. well i decided i needed to do something so i did the eas transformation. just seeing your photos were a flashback here i am ten years laters with a wife and kids and i lost all my disciplane. just seeing what you just did makes me wanna get back at! anyway man that was a great personal accomplishment 3rd place or not! you look ten years younger and leaner great work bro!!!!:bigups
