Hey all, I've been lurking here for a long time, but have never joined until I read about the $47 PCs at Lowes a couple weeks ago. I bought a couple and got to use it for the first time today.
I'm originally from Ky, but moved to NC so my wife could be on her forensic psychology internship. I've always loved my cars clean so when I moved down here I ended up getting a job detailing cars at CarMax. I figured we are just here for a year so I'll do something I enjoy and get ALOT of practice. I've been at it for 6 months now and am doing pretty well with a rotary and even wetsanding. I still won't use one on my own vehicles (they don't need it anyway).
Anyway, I had a chance to hit my truck today with some Mirror Glaze #80 and NXT Wax with the PC. I usually polish it out by hand once a year, but I'll never do that again. This machine stuff is WAY faster and gives better results. Here are a couple pics. Sorry the sun was going away. I got the paint finished, but haven't touched the trim, wheels, tires yet.
