A 50th birthday present for someone that just needed the finishing detail.
Pics on camera phone as I forgot proper camera.
This had been painted throughout and had other restoration work, unfortunatly overspray EVERYWHERE. Outside AND inside.

The work ahead :
The glass was attacked first, using wire wool and a blade to remove overspray and old stickers, inside AND out. Polished with AG glass after:
The interior trim was scrubbed with a strong Megs APC mix and AG macro pad to get into texturing, after:
I removed the rusty ashtray unit and resprayed with matt black plasticote
The leather was cleaned with Gliptone and soft wooden nailbrush:
and soft cleaning of the roof lining, taken from a Rolls:
On to the outside, the chrome work was improved with autosol and fine wire wool: before
after:
Chasis foamed in in-acessable areas
Tyres painted with Tetrosyl tyre paint
Polished with SFX2
Waxed with Swiss. Onyx
Afters:
And............ a preview of on-going work, finishing tomorrow ........
