Dennis--Why did you follow DACP with PI-III MG? I was under the impression that they are just about the same in aggressiveness?

Did following the DACP with the polishing pad give you any noticable benefit? I would have thought that the PI-III would suffice.

On my black car, I originally started with DACP and a polishing pad. I had to step up to DACP w/ a cutting pad to get the results I wanted. I went back down to DACP w/ a polishing pad thinking that I should be good to go after that but I noticed there were still some very fine cobwebs. I tried the SMR but I could still see them. I switched to PI III and they went away.



In retrospect, I probably could have gone directly from DACP w/ cutting pad to PI III with polishing. I think that would work. :)



However, on the green car I knew what worked before and didn't change the formula. I may have sacrificed a little more of the clear coat then necessary but I wanted to be sure and couldn't keep pulling the car out to check. :nixweiss
