Heh heh, yeah, it's arguable that those of us who like uniform beading are being utterly irrational about it and oughta try for "sheeting" instead.
But I *like* seeing beads that look a certain way, and IMO it's all about enjoying the whole car ownership experience. The uniform beading lets me know the LSP is still doing its job and says "nice waxjob" in an old-school kind of way. FWIW, I've never had any real problem with any of the supposed dangers of beads and if beading on a dirty vehicle causes a mess I just wash it (note that some products that bead are also "self cleaning" in the rain- #16 comes to mind). If I *did* have problems from the beads, I'd certainly look into something that is supposed to "sheet" instead.
