Beading PICS- OSx2 and 845 IW

J.J.

DEEP & WET
So it rained all day yesterday and as I pulled into the garage and proceeded inside the house I noticed a perfect opportunity to display the effectiveness of this great combo. I've been using OS since owning this vehicle, and for winter, I decided to throw on a coat of Collinite 845 IW. [Thanks to BigAl for the free sample]

I was pretty impressed. I'm really liking the appearance and protection this combo provides.

Thanks for looking and Happy THanksgiving :waxing: ,

Those are cool shots! The first photo is downright surreal. Isn't it satisfying to see those beads? You know you got something for your efforts protecting your cherished beauty.

I'm thankful for BEADS!

Did the addition of 845 change the appearance any? I'm doing my sister's dark gray Trailblazer this weekend and was going to apply two coats of Optimum Sealant. If it doesn't change the appearance much I will follow your lead and slap some 845 on too. Thanks in advance for your comments.

I had a dark grey Odyssey which I just sold. It looked great with OS applied. I really like the product and think that for a quick job it can't be beat.

I haven't tried CS so I can't offer a comparison but the properties are the same and I'm sure it would work great.

Both products OS and 845 IW will provide good protection but the IW is probably a bit better in that regard. Just my guess though.

Looks great!! :xyxthumbs I love beading pics and products.

If you want to get beading pics like the ones i took, one word, super macro mode!!

Thanks for all the comments! I found the beads to be rather rewarding. I'm thrilled to be apart of a forum community that appreciates the small things in life just like myself.

Yes, I do believe it changed the appearance a little. The 845 did not mask the metallic flake in any way which kinda surprised me, however it did add some depth to the appearance of the paint. See pics below:

With 845:

I would recommend this combo to anyone. I cannot comment on 845 alone as I have no experience with 845 by itself.

Sweet! I wish I had a layer of OS under the 845 on my car! I have both, but currently have 845 on my yellow VW and OS on my wife's Ruby Red ML.

How is 845 in terms of dust attraction?

In my experience it doesn't attract dust.

Put OS on top of 845. It works fine. I had some on top of Natty's that was cured.

If you are putting OS on a carnauba just make sure it is cured.

Thanks. One of the main reasons I don't use Carnauba's is dust attraction.

(845 is a Carnauba, right?)
