Beading and Sheeting water?

The only time I've ever seen RainX streak is when its applied wrong. If you apply it before you wash your car and then just wash down your windshield as part of the process, then there isn't any glare problem or streak problem or anything. Its not Aquapel by any means, but it works just like it says it works and lasts for a month or two between applications.

I've found I can also apply it after I wash. I'll apply it, let it dry and then come and buff it off really well with a cotton towel. I'll then use a MF towel and my glass cleaner to get the streaks. I've never had a problem with this fully removing the Rain-X as it still works great. I really like Rain-X. It is easy to find, pretty easy to apply, and it is cheap!

I use zaino glass polish on all the windows once a year, then I apply zaino Z2 (no zfx or z1) to the windows each time I wax the car. After each car wash, I use Z6 on them. On the front windshield I have been using rainx, but z2 gave me the same beading effect. I also use Z2 on all the plastic lenses and front headlights.

DETAILKING,

How many layers of Z2 are you applying on the windshield and how long does it last on glass? Also, do you find any difference between using the Z2 on the headlights vs. Plexus or 303?
