Today's job was my brother's 2002 silver m3, the car lives a charmed life only coming out on weekends and dry days.
With only 20k miles its in pretty decent condition however a full correction will be done over the winter months but for now he just wanted it protected for the summer months.
Few befores
First up the arches, wheels and exhausts,
Once they were completed it was onto the wash stages.
Foamed using megs hyper wash with some apc also
Left to dwell for 5 mins
Rinsed with pw foamed again and washed with lambswool mitt, tbm with shampoo plus.
Rinse bucket after which shows the benefit of good pre rinse/foam
Once washed lower halfs and bumpers sprayed and wiped with as tardis. Clayed using zimol lehm as there were some very stubborn contaminents.
Car then re-washed and sheeted using a watering can with filtered water which left only small spots of water on the bodywork which were pat dried with a few poorboys ww towels.
Once fully dry the paint was cleansed with HDC leaving a perfect finish for the lsp which was two coats of zimol concours.
Afters
Final touches were to seal the wheels with poorboys dress the tyres, arches and engine bay, and polish up the exhaust with autosol.
Manged to capture some nice reflections also
Once id finished my brother did the interior and made a bloody good job of it only one pic though as my battery died.
Thats your lot hope you like.
All in all a busy day around 8 hours in total.
