This should be a fun topic.

What have you Bartered for your detailing service?

We just Bartered a full detail for Jackets with embroidery logo.

A friend buys me products in return for detailing his car. Fair trade, since I'd rather not deal in ca$h with friends.

Hmmm, maybe I should do details at strip clubs.... :xyxthumbs

I take care of my brother's cars in exchange for him maintaining my website. I really haven't done much bartering otherwise.

Haircuts, Business Cards, Car Stereo Equipment, Vinyl lettering, Jewelry, and most recently my Cleaning Lady's cleans my house, I clean her cars :)

I've only detailed for family and friends.

I should have a shirt printed with "Will Detail for Home Baked Cookies".

PC.

I'll bake you some! Tough to find good detailers! Much easier to bake cookies!

Haircuts, massage, chiropractic, shoes, design services, RO water, gaining corporate accounts . . .

all some of the time, none all of the time. Cash is always my favorite. Some people/professions are difficult to trade with.

I bartered (or my wife did) a tile floor in our bar area. The woman had a big ole Ford Expedition and when she saw her truck when I was finsished, she put new tile down in the entryway as an added bonus. (Pays to do good work :getdown )

yeah body work it is the best. I basically detail the inside of cars after he is finished painting them, or just buff the outside. He does any type of painting or body work that i needed. fixed my truck when it got crashed for free, painted custom parts, will paint my trailer etc. I love it

Oh yeah, I recieved a few bottles of wine for a tip (his family owned a winery). This was a nice something extra :).
