Bad/Expired Optimum polish???

Keep in mind here that I never said the polish was "bad" (that was part of my original question). I suspect it works fine (I don't have anything to use it on at the moment). My issue is that I can't get it out of the damn bottle through the spout.
Weird, mine and my neighbors come out fine. That was one of the things that worried me like I stated above, kept reading about those problems which had me doubting my puchase. But I even would leave the cap flipped open and it never dried or clogged up, poured out everytime.

That's why I wonder if they changed formulas? I know others with the Optimum line like my neighbor, and they never had these problems either. But you see a lot of post regarding these issues.

Wait a few weeks... give it time :). I guess your lucky right now. This doesn't effect the product at all it is just a hassle.

Not entirely true, I had a bottle that was perfect the whole time I had it.

Yea, my neighbor had his OC and OP for quite a while. He was the one who told me to order the stuff.

i had the same problem with the consistency of OP after i recently purchased it; clumpy and cottage cheese like, it would not squirt out of the bottle. i had to screw off the top and drip some onto the pad. i tried to contact Optimum about this and by accident logged on to a detailing site where the owner, kevin farrell, told me that it was he and the ceo of Optimum that developed OP to begin with. kevin told me my OP had "separated"; i believe that was the term he used and no amount of shaking was going to bring it back to the way it was suppossed to be, creamy and lotion like. he asked me to contact the vendor i purchased it from and request a replacement from them and if for any reason they refused, to contact him again and he would replace the bottle. as of yet i haven't done that because of the excellent results i have obtained using it, defective and all. as reported, it seems like you can endlessly polish with it. it has a very long working time. it took ALL the winter swirls out of my 2 cars after the long winter. the clumpiness now is only an inconvenience, i didn't want to send mine back and will probably just keep using it until it runs out and at which time i will reorder some more.
