backing plates and pads for PC

I was wondering, most people seem to be recommending the pads and the backing plates from CMA. But for me I would have to either ship them to just before the border(I live in canada) and bring them over, or get ups to ship them over and eat the brokerage fees. So I was wondering is there any real difference between that CMA stuff andthis because thats where I'm going to buy my PC as it is local and the cheapest I can find locally. They sell a velcro backing plate on that site as well as some pads.

Yes that PC and the pads work well. The distributor is good and should be fine. Make sure to get the MF set for free and pick up some products. I feel sorry for Canadians, once your done its almost twice the amount of a regular 7336 sp here!
 
About how long do the pads last? And will it be ok to use the 6.5" inch pads with a 5 inch backing plate?
 
Pads probably will last while. They look like lake country pads so you will be fine. Yes 6.5 with 5 inch is good with that PC. :cool
